As promised in this post, I am going to be honest about where I am at; my faith journey.
I am the busiest I have ever been and being stretched beyond capacity. That’s just simply where the Lord has me. I’m not going to sugar coat it and say it’s a fun time because it’s not. But, I will say that there’s an overabundance of blessings and reward that I could not tap into in my own strength.  I came across this quote from Elisabeth Elliot and it has served as a reminder that the Lord has a loving purpose for my life and that doesn’t mean He is going to change my circumstances, no matter how hard, challenging and heart breaking they are. During quiet time this morning, my husband shared this devotional with me. I am being crushed to be poured out, in the most beautiful way, to be the most delicious wine for His sake. As long as I keep looking, depending, relying and resting in Him, I can overcome. He is the secret to a life of contentment, wherever we’re at!
