Donalson Wedding | Winter Haven, FL | Florida + Destination Fine Art Photographer

Taylor and Andrew met at Target. And before you start thinking about the many times you visit Target and how you may have passed your soulmate in an aisle, let me clarify that their love story did not begin by them shopping there the same day (although everyone can relate about how you go to Target for one thing and you spend your whole life savings in an hour), they were coworkers. Once they began dating, they knew that this was a happily ever after and began planning their wedding shortly before being together for one year. The minute I met them, I knew that their special day was going to be amazing! They got married at his parent’s house and invited a lot of close friends and family. And the thing about them that makes them my ideal couple is that they treated me like family from day one. They were set on me photographing their wedding before they even emailed me. I connected with each person that took part in making this day what they dreamed of and it was a joyous celebration.  Their officiant eloquently described what marriage is—candid, honest and real. I couldn’t help holding back tears through his words because I had lived them. I was incredibly happy that they were starting their marriage with truth and wisdom that will follow them for the rest of their lives. They didn’t just plan a wedding, they planned for a marriage. Taylor was a gorgeous bride, oh my word! She is full of grace and a quiet strength that had her glowing all day. Andrew was mesmerized by her—he could not look away (and why would he? She was absolutely beautiful). And the best part about this celebration? That although it was an intimate affair, the guests knew how to have a good time and party. You couldn’t keep them off the dance floor!

Thank you Donalson family, for including me in the beginning of your love story.
