The first thing I noticed when meeting the Morey’s was that they have a framed print of the verse 1 John 4:19, “We love because He first loved us”. This verse has served to remind me, time and time again, that the mere existence of love is a direct result of God’s love for us. That verse popped in my prayer time about 7-8 years ago and has been the driving factor behind my photography business. Each offering and product that I put out there is to better serve my clients because “they love because He loved them first”. Entering the Morey’s household was a testament to what I do and what He is doing through this family. And through patient words, loving embraces and silly laughter, I too was reminded about God’s love for me through this session. There were so many moments captured by my camera that I could not curate a gallery under 150 images. It was impossible! It was as if the abundance was a witness of what is to come for them. I don’t know where God will lead the Morey’s but I do know that He is up to something with them that I can’t quite put my finger on it. All I know is that there are multiple ministries that will be birthed from them, especially their little ones. May your adventures be full of divine appointments, joyous moments and life-changing testimonies—it certainly felt like this for me as I photographed you all .
